Reimagining Cultural Leadership for a Complex World.

I advise leaders and institutions navigating bold transitions in the arts, education, and public life. With over three decades of experience across philanthropy, higher education, and the nonprofit sector, I help organizations align vision with structure, values with strategy, and ambition with clarity. Whether stepping in as an interim leader or serving as a discreet advisor to CEOs, my work brings calm to complexity — and traction to bold ideas.

I'm a nationally recognized leader at the intersection of arts, philanthropy, higher education, and cultural policy. Through strategic advising, leadership coaching, and institutional transformation, I partner with clients who seek to build future-ready cultural ecosystems that are equitable, ambitious, and sustainable.

I’ve held leadership positions at The Mellon Foundation, Carolina Performing Arts at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. I currently serve on boards and committees including the National Council on the Arts, Silkroad, and Jazz at Lincoln Center, and I’m a member of the Council of Korean Americans. Last year, I served as the Agnes Gund Visiting Professor of the Practice of the Arts at Brown University..

Let’s Connect
I take on a small number of engagements at a time, working closely with leaders who are ready to move with clarity and intention.

If you’re navigating a transition, need an outside perspective, or just want to explore what’s possible — I’d be glad to start a conversation.
